Biography

Tim Reynolds, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is an Assistant Professor in Ithaca College’s Exercise Science and Athletic Training Department where he teaches Anatomy & Physiology, as well as a part-time outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with Cayuga Medical Center. 

Dr. Reynolds graduated from Ithaca College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy Program in 2014 and went on for further postdoctoral training with Cayuga Medical Center’s Orthopedic Residency Program in 2015, as well as their Spine Fellowship Program in 2018.

In 2021 he co-authored the book, Movers & Mentors , which included interviews from over 75 physical therapists from around the world. He has been published on several topics including the significance of word choice with patients, incorporating social media within the classroom, and multiple patient case reports, and currently has research interests including the impact on communication in patient outcomes and gamification in the classroom. 

Dr. Reynolds has also explored the utilization of social media to enhance student learning through his professional social media platforms (TikTok: @anp_professor and Instagram: @anatomy_professor), where he provides anatomy and medical content to over 1,000,000 followers. 

When not teaching or treating, Dr. Reynolds enjoys climbing mountains, traveling, and spending time with his fellow IC faculty fiancé, Angela Di Francesco.
