Creating Materials to Meet Urgent Health Needs

Session Information

In this session, you will learn about the process of creating health education materials during a public health crisis that meet the needs of adults with low literacy and limited English proficiency.  Other issues such as cultural competence will also be addressed. Materials for discussion will be shared.  Attendees will learn how to prepare culturally and linguistically appropriate health education materials and will understand the complexities of developing just-in-time health materials.
