ACADEMIC YEAR HOURS:
Monday through Thursday - The Health Center is open from 8am - 8pm. Appointments are available as below:
· 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Same Day appointments available for urgent needs, please call ahead to schedule a same day appointment.
· 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Visits by appointment
· 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Nurse service only
· Medication pick up available from 8:00 a.m. until 6:30 p.m.
· Two Thursdays per month the Hammond Health Center will be closed from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with no services available.
Friday - The Health Center is open 8am - pm. Appointments are available as below:

Saturdays The Health Center is open 11am - 4pm and appointments are available as follows:
· 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Same Day appointments only for urgent needs, please call ahead to schedule a same day appointment.
· 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 pm Nurse service only
· Medication pick up available from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
There are no ancillary services on Saturday - Xray and Laboratory not available - limited lab of Rapid Strep and uinalysis can be done.
Sundays - Closed
SUMMER HOURS:
The clinic is open Monday – Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m; Friday 8:00am until 3:00pm. Physician appointments are available between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m Mon - Thurs; Fri 9am-2:30pm. There is no laboratory or x-ray services available on-site during the summer. Medication pick up is available from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
A NOTE TO YOUR PROFESSORS THAT YOU WERE SEEN AT THE HEALTH CENTER- We do not provide a written excuse that you were seen at the Health Center. Your professors are aware that we do not issue 'blue notes' documenting students visits at the Health Center. This was initiated in Spring 2005 after extensive discussion and support of the Provost and the Faculty Council. Students should promptly and proactively communicate with their instructors if they are ill and need to miss class. When necessary in a prolonged, severe or unusual illness, we will assist with documentation after obtaining signed release of information forms.

We have the capabilities for many different types of appointments such as vaccinations, annual well care, physical exams, general illnesses, as well as same day urgent care appointments. Our staff includes specialists in internal medicine, adolescent medicine and sports medicine. Contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

Plan to check in at the main desk 10 minutes before the scheduled time. If you cannot keep an appointment or no longer need the appointment, please notify us as soon as possible so we may schedule another patient for that time.

We can administer ongoing immunotherapy (allergy shots) under the guidance of your personal allergy specialist. You can have your home allergist mail us your serum and orders and then you can schedule an appointment to have it administered at the Health Center.

For students with chronic conditions, we strongly encourage early contact with us in order to establish care with the most appropriate clinician. We welcome the opportunity to provide ongoing care in collaboration with your physicians at home. We also work closely with the counseling center psychotherapists, community mental health professionals, and psychiatrists at home to provide careful, coordinated care for students needing medication in the course of their therapy. All treatment is strictly confidential.

We maintain a current list of dentists and oral surgeons in the Ithaca area who have expressed particular interest in our referrals and who will see Ithaca College students promptly for dental emergencies. These dental practices bill independently for visits.
