The Center for Life Skills

The Center for Life Skills is staffed by Ithaca College faculty and students from the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance. Faculty and students from the department of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Therapeutic Recreation provide programs tailored to meet the individual needs of elderly participants who have experienced either a stroke or other neurological impairment.

Mission

The Center for Life Skills is dedicated to providing high quality interdisciplinary rehabilitation services to meet the individual needs of participant. Ithaca College faculty and students form a variety of disciplines come together to offer individuals who have experienced a stroke or neurological disorder to opportunity to enhance their quality of life, independence, health, and personal growth.
