The Upper and Lower Quads are located on the east side of the Academic Quad to either side of the Fitness Center. The Quads feature single and double rooms, as well as a limited number of special use apartments.
- The Upper Quad (closest to the Towers) includes: Boothroyd, Hilliard, Holmes, Hood, Rowland and Tallcott Halls.
- Boothroyd Hall will be offline for 2022-23.
- The Lower Quad includes: Bogart, Clarke, Eastman, Landon and Lyon Halls.
Each Quad hall is complete with TV and study lounges, a kitchen, vending area, laundry facilities, shared (single-gender) bathrooms and stairwell balconies. With the exception of Boothroyd, there are no elevators in the Quads; certain buildings provide for ADA access.
There are three Quad Apartments which are first made available to students with special housing needs and sometimes are available to students through the wait list request process. Each Quad Apartment is a 2-person apartment, complete with furniture and draperies, a full bathroom, a kitchen with an electric range and full-size refrigerator, and built-in closets. The bedroom is complete with a twin XL bed (mattress is 36" x 80" x 7"), a study desk and chair, and dresser for each resident.
