Ashley, the Center for Career Exploration and Development’s Internship & Student Employment Specialist, joined the team in November 2023 after spending the last five years working in higher education at various institutions in her hometown of Erie, PA. Her experience encompasses diverse departments, including Residence Life, Alumni Relations, and most recently, Career Services.

Ashley holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Studies from PennWest University, with a strong emphasis on Integrated Marketing, Leadership Studies, and Managerial Communication.

Throughout her journey in higher education, Ashley has actively engaged on campus and in the wider community, participating in professional groups such as Young Erie Professionals, Highland Ambassadors, Circle K, Lambda Pi Eta Honors Society, ATHENA Connections College Leadership Initiative, and Applied Communicators of Edinboro.

In her spare time, Ashley enjoys going on walks and indulging in inspirational books. She also enjoys watching television shows like The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Law and Order: SVU.

As a dedicated student affairs professional, Ashley is deeply passionate about supporting diverse student populations and encouraging students to be their authentic selves. She ardently advocates for the holistic wellbeing of all students, with a focus on their personal, academic, and professional growth.
