Bio:

Geselle Dominguez has been part of the Ithaca community, both on and off-campus, for the better part of 15 years, and now currently works here at the departments of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and the Center for Health Promotion (CHP) as an administrative assistant.

Geselle Dominguez is a native New Yorker to the southern tier of upstate, having attended Ithaca College in the fall of 2015. Graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, and minors in Counseling and Latino/a Studies, she would later the join the college as a professional staff member that same year at the Center for Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Social Change (IDEAS), later known as the Unity Center (c. 2025). During her time as their program coordinator, she would earn the First Generation 'Guardian Award' in 2022 for her work in advocating for students at Ithaca College, before departing from the college that spring.

Geselle Dominguez returned to the college in April 2025 to provide administrative and operations support for CAPS and CHP as a full-time Administrative Assistant. In May of 2025, she would take over as Medical Leave coordinator on behalf of CAPS and the campus community. In the following fall semester, Geselle would also join the Student Emergency Relief Fund committee as their administrative coordinator, returning to work that prioritizes support of marginalized student populations in our campus community.
