Laura Davis is the Assistant Dean for Student Life and Engagement in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Life at Ithaca College. In this role, she serves as part of the leadership team for the division and works closely with Student Engagement, New Student and Transition Programs, Campus Center, and SACL Communications.
Laura joined Ithaca College in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education, primarily in residential life, student development, and community standards. Prior to her current role, she served as Director of Residential Life and Student Conduct and Community Standards, providing leadership for residential education, student conduct processes, and student success initiatives.
Laura's passion for student affairs began as a resident assistant during her undergraduate years, an experience that inspired her commitment to fostering student growth, belonging, and engagement. She earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont and her master's degree from Indiana University. Laura approaches her work with a collaborative leadership style and strategic mindset, creating meaningful opportunities for students to learn, connect, and thrive.
