The Ithaca College Board of Trustees has begun the search for the college’s 11th president, who will succeed President La Jerne Terry Cornish following the conclusion of her term on June 30, 2027.
The Presidential Search Committee, chaired by Board of Trustees Vice Chair Christopher D. Palmieri ’96, is leading the search in partnership with executive search firm WittKieffer. The committee includes trustees and representatives of Ithaca College’s faculty, staff, students, and alumni.
Community input will help the committee develop a leadership profile reflecting the experience and qualities Ithaca College’s next president will need, as well as the opportunities and priorities that will shape the presidency. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to share their perspectives through the community survey. Additional information about upcoming listening sessions will be shared as it becomes available.
