Dr. Olufemi (Femi) Ogundele is Associate Vice Chancellor and Dean of Enrollment at the University of California, Berkeley, where he leads the university’s undergraduate enrollment enterprise, including admissions, financial aid, the registrar, educational partnerships, and visitor services. A member of Berkeley’s senior leadership team, he oversees a division of more than 375 staff and is responsible for advancing the university’s commitment to academic excellence, access, and student success.

A nationally recognized leader in higher education enrollment management, Ogundele has spent nearly two decades shaping recruitment, admissions, and college access strategies at some of the nation’s most selective institutions, including Berkeley, Stanford University, Cornell University, and the University of Delaware. His work has contributed to historic gains in student diversity, enrollment yield, and access while maintaining the highest standards of academic achievement.

Ogundele earned a Doctor of Education from the University of California, Berkeley, where his research focused on equity-minded leadership and inclusive admissions practices. He also holds a Master of Science in Communication from Ithaca College and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Public Relations from Mansfield University.

A frequent national speaker and advisor on enrollment strategy, college access, and higher education leadership, Ogundele serves on numerous national advisory boards and professional organizations dedicated to expanding educational opportunity. As an Ithaca College trustee, he is committed to supporting the institution’s mission of preparing students to lead meaningful lives and careers in a changing world.
