Friday, June 28, 2024: 50 Years and... Remembering

Start with a return visit to 35 Harrington Gardens to check in, pick up name tags and your commemorative umbrella. Also meet current ICLC staff and find your picture on our staircase!

ICLC will be open all day to welcome visitors from 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., with coffee, tea, and biscuits. Check in for the 50th Anniversary Celebration is available all day. Also, take time to tour the building as well as hear about the history and future of ICLC.

Available at both 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.	WALKING TOUR OF KENSINGTON IN HONOR OF BILL SHEASGREEN During his 18 years as Director, Bill Sheasgreen took all ICLC students on walks throughout London, sharing his wide knowledge of the city’s rich history. Join a local tour guide on a walking tour that is sure to evoke great memories of Bill and your time abroad.	The exact timing and meeting locations for this event will be announced closer to the 50th celebration.
11:00 a.m.	BE A STUDENT AGAIN Looking to dive deeper into London culture, history, or art? Hear from IC faculty and experts in the field in sessions at the Ithaca College London Center or at museums and galleries around London. Educational Session I: Shakespeare Delve into the history of Shakespeare's plays with IC professors at ICLC Educational Session II: British Art in the V&A Learn about Tudors, miniatures and more with ICLC professors at the Victoria & Albert Museum	The exact timing and meeting locations for this event will be announced closer to the 50th celebration.
1:00 - 5:00 p.m.	RIVER THAMES BOAT CRUISE Join us on a celebration up and down the river Thames. Our private river boat will be our vessel to explore London’s rich history, give us an up-close view of London’s architecture, and serve as the official kick-off to ICLC’s 50th celebration weekend. Refreshments and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
	THEATRE PERFORMANCES Group tickets available at an additional cost.	The exact timing and meeting locations for this event will be announced closer to the 50th celebration.
	PUB NIGHT AT THE FAMOUS THREE KINGS (informal gathering)	The Famous Three Kings 171 North End Road Fulham

Saturday, June 29, 2024: 50 Years and... Learning

If you weren't able to make it on Friday, start the day with a return visit to 35 Harrington Gardens to check in, pick up name tags and your commemorative umbrella, meet current ICLC staff, and find your picture on our staircase!

5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.	AN EVENING AT THE BENTLEY HOTEL Join us at The Bentley Hotel for the premiere event of the weekend. . . the official Ithaca College London Center 50th Anniversary Celebration. Hear directly from Ithaca College President La Jerne Terry Cornish, Provost Melanie Stein, and the Director of the London Center, Meghan Callahan. Food and beverages will be provided. 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.	PUB NIGHT AT THE HEREFORD ARMS End the night together at a local Chelsea pub, The Hereford Arms. Join IC’s President La Jerne Terry Cornish and the team from ICLC as we keep the celebration going—London style.	The Hereford Arms 127 Gloucester Road South Kensington
