Andrew Roberts is an aspiring sports broadcaster from Northborough, MA who hopes to make the world a more inclusive place through sports. He has written about sports since 2014 on his website, Boston Sports Mania. Since coming to Ithaca College, he has been in various on-air roles with the sports departments of ICTV, WICB, and VIC. This past summer, Andrew was the broadcaster for the Niagara Falls Americans, a collegiate summer baseball team in the PGCBL. Andrew is also a Flutie Fellow for the Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism, serving as an ambassador for the organization. He interned with them in the summers of 2023 and 2024, and is now additionally their golf consultant, helping manage their new STARS of the Spectrum Golf Tour. Andrew was diagnosed with autism at the age of 2, and he has used public speaking about his own story as another platform to serve the community. He most recently spoke at the OSDIA New York State Conference in 2024. This fall, Andrew is co-leading Device Advice at the McGraw House and planning to launch a new student organization called Parkies Helping Parkies , aiming to promote inclusion in Park co-curriculars. He has also continued as host of his own VIC sports show, Cities of Champions , a halftime analyst for WICB’s Ithaca football coverage, and a general manager for the draft segment on ICTV’s On the Clock . In addition, Andrew provides weekly sports updates on WICB and provides play-by-play broadcasting for various Ithaca sporting events.
