Sierra “CeCe” Gabriel is a sophomore Sports Media major in the Roy H. Park School of Communications, passionate about building synergistic communities—spaces where people lean on one another’s strengths to uplift the whole. On campus, she is actively involved in ICTV as an associate producer for Bombers Live, host of Next Player Up, and reporter for Big Red Faceoff and Sports Final . She also lends her voice as a commentator for Ithaca Athletics and the NFHS Network. Her broadcasting experience extends beyond South Hill through her work with ESPN+ at Cornell University, where she serves as both a broadcaster and a production assistant for Big Red Athletics. Beyond sports, CeCe’s faith values are central to her life. She serves on the e-board of Cereal Ministry, a Christian student organization, and spends her summers as a program director at a Christian sleepaway camp. Out of her desire to mentor and foster Christ-centered community, she launched a biweekly Bible study for young women ages 15–20 from her camp, choosing it as her individual service. Looking ahead, CeCe plans to continue serving the Ithaca community through Device Advice at McGraw House, a group program that helps senior citizens navigate technology. In all she does, CeCe seeks to blend her passions for Christ, sports, and storytelling—impacting lives in Central New York and beyond.
