Tamar is a Television, Photography, and Digital Media Production major with minors in Audio Production for Film & Television and Graphic Design. In her first year at IC, she volunteered at the Finger Lakes ReUse Center with fellow Park Scholars. There she helped sort donations, keeping usable items out of landfills, and collaborated in producing promotional media content. Independently, she volunteered as an usher and ticket taker at the State Theatre of Ithaca. She will continue both service activities in her sophomore year. In the Park School, Tamar quickly got involved with The Ithacan and now serves as their Social Media Manager. Following in fellow Park Scholar Cody Acquista’s footsteps, she joined the Park Promotions E-Board as the Assistant Director of Digital Storytelling and will take over as the Director in Spring 2026. She also fulfills social media and communication roles with IC Mixed and Japanese Learning Club. On the weekends, Tamar applies what she learns in her classes to the pre-professional world. She has volunteered on the crew for many student films, including Falling Behind , Khichdi , Anicca , and more. Here, she exercises her social media skills and has recently branched out to take on roles in cinematography and audio production. Most of all, she loves to chat!
