Chris is an Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing Communications student at Ithaca College, with minors in Live Event Production, Screenwriting, and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. With a background spanning creative advertising, television, and storytelling, he aspires to change the way people communicate by creating work that entertains, connects, and inspires action. During his first year at Ithaca College, Chris launched South Hill Live, his own show on Ithaca College Television (ICTV), the college’s student-run television station. Since then, he has expanded his involvement across more than five ICTV productions, taking on roles in producing, directing, technical production, and live television. This fall, he is leading South Hill Live through its first on-air production while continuing to challenge himself through national advertising and creative competitions. Chris’s work also extends beyond campus television. His distracted-driving public service announcement earned national recognition through the Project Yellow Light scholarship competition and was selected to air through iHeartMedia. The experience strengthened his interest in using advertising and media not only to capture attention, but to create meaningful impact. Community service remains an important part of Chris’s life. Last year, he developed a short-form program for the GIAC Rising Stars inspired by Saturday Night Live, creating a family-friendly comedy experience for local youth. He also volunteers at McGraw House, helping senior citizens navigate technology and providing companionship, and plans to continue serving the Ithaca community through The Village at Ithaca.
