Chris is a Writing for Television, Film, and Emerging Media student at Ithaca College. With a background in creative media production, he aspires to create films and stories that both entertain and inspire, using narrative to connect people and spark meaningful reflection. In high school, Chris combined creative storytelling with service to his school and community. As founder and leader of his school’s newspaper club, he produced digital tabloids that gave students a voice on campus. He also worked to expand the reach of these publications by coordinating their display on school televisions, ensuring that student journalism remained accessible and engaging to the wider community. This fall, Chris is furthering his writing and production experience by contributing to After Hours on ICTV. He is also continuing to challenge himself through athletics, having competed in football, lacrosse, wrestling, and baseball in high school, and is now playing rugby at the college level. Outside of media and athletics, Chris is an active member of his community. He volunteers at McGraw House, where he assists senior citizens with technology and provides companionship. He also be works with young people as a volunteer at The Greater Ithaca Activities Center. Through these experiences, Chris is finding a greater sense of self, by striving to brighten someone’s day with a laugh, a hug, and a helping hand.
