Growing up, I wanted to work with kids and be a person who makes a difference in their lives. I came across the field of speech-language pathology and immediately knew it was what I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing. When looking at schools I came across Ithaca College and fell in love so much that I completed my undergraduate and graduate degrees here. After my graduate school commencement at Ithaca College I will complete my CFY at Children’s Therapy Network.

When looking at the time I have spent at Ithaca College, I am grateful for the relationships that I built and the education I received. I was given the opportunity to participate in various clinical experiences. My most memorable experience was at Kali’s Klubhouse, a clinical experience that combines Hippotherapy and AAC therapy with pediatric clients who have various diagnosis. I worked hands-on with the families and provided them with education about AAC and ways to incorporate AAC in their everyday lives. My favorite part was watching the happiness of families when they found success from this experience. This experience inspired my aspirations to become certified in hippotherapy and start a similar program.
