Abby graduated with a degree in Advertising, PR and Marketing Communication in the Park School at Ithaca College in 2026, with a minor in Media Literacy. For the interdisciplinary Media Literacy Minor, Abby took courses in Psychology, Television-Radio, Italian, Music, and Strategic Communications. Her media literacy application work involved developing media plans for the Friends of the Ithaca Farmer's Market through the Integrated Marketing Communications Lab.

Caleb graduated with a degree in Writing for Film, TV, & Emerging Media from the Park School of Communications at Ithaca College in 2026. He had minors in Still Photography as well as Media Literacy. For the interdisciplinary Media Literacy Minor, Caleb took courses in Psychology, Cinema & Photography, Television-Radio, and English. His media literacy application work involved doing an internship with the National Association for Media Literacy Education.
Mia graduated with a degree in Sociology in 2026 from Ithaca College, with a minor in Media Literacy. For the interdisciplinary Media Literacy Minor, Mia took courses in Psychology, Sociology, Television-Radio, Music, Writing, and Italian Culture. Her media literacy application work involved doing an internship with Project Look Sharp, where she created and edited materials for PD activities for teachers and librarians, and also co-designed a media literacy lesson activity on media portrayals of juvenile delinquency.
Caitlyn graduated with a degree in Biochemistry in 2026 from Ithaca College. She had minors in Environment and Society and in Media Literacy, and she was also an Innovation Scholar. For the interdisciplinary Media Literacy Minor, Caitlyn took courses in Psychology, Linguistics, Art History, Music, Computer Science, and Management. Her media literacy application work involved creating promotional media for ITHACON.
Ariana graduated with a degree in Communication Management and Design, and media literacy minor at Ithaca College. She took courses in Psychology, Cinema and Photography, Culture, Race and Ethnicity, Music, and Strategic Communications for the minor. She also had internships with The National Association of Media Literacy Education, and the Rosamond Gifford Zoo where she worked with the Communications Department.
Abby was the first student in a dual degree program to graduate with the media literacy minor, with majors in both H&S and the Park School. She took courses in Journalism, Philosophy, TV/R and Emerging Media for the minor, and did her internship with Atlantic Records. For her final portfolio she created a narrated PowerPoint.
Carly was the first student to register for the media literacy minor and was a member of the Media Literacy Minor Steering Committee. She also had minors in education and women's & gender studies, and she took courses in Music, Cinema & Photography, and Journalism for the minor. She created a website for her final portfolio, incorporating aspects of her major and all three of her minors.
Christine was the first student to graduate with a media literacy minor at Ithaca College. She took courses in Art History, Sociology, TV/R and Strategic Communications for the minor. She was a member of Dr. Scheibe's research team, the Center for Research on the Effects of Television, which is how she earned the credits for her media literacy application requirement.
