Wellness for the Performing Arts

The Performing Arts Wellness Initiative at Ithaca College is a collaborative effort between the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance (HSHP), the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (MTD), and Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

The Performing Arts Wellness Initiative offers HSHP students valuable clinical learning opportunities while providing performing arts students with comprehensive physical, mental, and hearing wellness support. Excitingly, a new addition this year is an acting class designed to train students to serve as standardized clinical patients, aiding health science students in their learning process.
