Beginning here at Ithaca College, as the class of 2015, Clement studied psychology without a clear end goal in mind. It wasn't until the summer before his senior year that a friend in the SLPA program asked "Hey, can you join my session and hang out with my client. He needs some guy time", that Clement dove head first into the profession. Completing his graduate work at Nazareth College in 2017, Clement had the opportunity to learn about and work with a wide range of clients and settings, but fell in love with the amazing, messy, and silly preschoolers.
After almost 10 years with Liberty POST, an organization dedicated to supporting children and families in the Rochester area, Clement has returned to Ithaca College to share his passion, experience, and skills with the next generation of speech language pathologists. To help them love the moments of mess, and silliness! While thinking about the complexity of the individuals we serve, and ultimately wondering how can we make this amazing for them?
