OT / PT Clinic

Located on the fourth floor of the Center for Health Sciences, the Occupational and Physical Therapy Clinic offers comprehensive rehabilitation services to the Ithaca College community.

The Ithaca College Occupational and Physical Therapy (OT/PT) Clinic is available to the Ithaca College community including students, faculty/staff, their families and the residents at Longview.

All services are provided by New York State licensed physical and occupational therapists.

The Clinic is available for the treatment of a variety of diagnoses and patient populations including: orthopedic, neurological, hand, performing artists, and pediatric. Occupational Therapy Services require a physician referral in order to be treated. Physical Therapy services may be delivered on a limited direct access basis. All OT/PT Clinic services are free, and therefore no insurance information is necessary.

Current OT/PT students are hired as student workers to assist in daily operations. Current OT/PT students may take elective courses working with patients under the direction of a faculty member.

The Clinic is open during the academic year only. The hours for each semester will vary depending clinical faculty schedules. Staffed by faculty from the Departments of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, the Clinic also serves as an integral component of the curriculum by providing: clinical experiences and patient demonstrations for many of the clinically oriented courses, an environment for conducting clinical research, and interdisciplinary clinical inservices in collaboration with other departments in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance.
