Cook & Connect with First-Generation Students!

FIRST Look is an opportunity for first-generation college students to form meaningful connections with one another and learn about IC campus resources through a first-gen lens. This year, join us for a one-of-a-kind, hands on opportunity to cook a meal in the Coltivare culinary lab (part of a local, farm-to-table restaurant in Ithaca). No cooking experience or expertise is needed to participate.

At IC, we define ‘first-generation’ as students (and their siblings) who are first in their family to attend and graduate from a four-year residential college in the United States. If this speaks to you or if you identify as a first-generation college student, feel free to join us for this program! Not sure? Reach out to us at nstp@ithaca.edu.
