Fall Orientation Schedule

Monday, August 18, 2025

• 9 a.m.–3 p.m., Early Arrival Move-in and Orientation Check-in (for Jumpstart participants, international students, and certain fall athletes), Athletics and Events Center Arena
  • Check in to receive your room key, ID card, and orientation materials then move in to your residence hall.
• 1–2:45 p.m., Early Arrival Resource Fair, Athletics and Events Center Arena
• 3–6:30 p.m., Early Arrival Parent and Family Orientation Sessions
  • 3–3:45 p.m., Just Between Us, Athletics and Events Center Arena
  • 4–5 p.m., Academics at IC
    • School of Business, Business School 111
    • Park School of Communication, Athletics & Events Center
    • School of Health Science & Human Performance, Hill 104
    • School of Humanities & Sciences, Textor 102
    • School of Music, Theatre, & Dance, Hockett Recital Hall
  • 5–6:30 p.m., New Families Social Hour, Dillingham Fountains
• 5–9 p.m., Jumpstart Welcome Dinner & Activity
  • Students accepted into the Jumpstart program will meet staff and fellow new students over dinner, then join up with their specific Jumpstart groups for an activity.
