2016 Fall Welcome

Fall Welcome is Ithaca's continuing orientation program that happens over three days prior to the first day of classes. It is designed to assist new and transfer students in becoming acquainted with their new college environment and provides greater opportunity for academic, social, and individual growth. 

All first-year students will receive the complete Fall Welcome Program which includes a copy of the schedule when they check into their fall room assignment.  Program highlights are listed below.

Fall Welcome Program FAQ:

  • New varsity athletes will work with their coach to navigate Fall Welcome programs with team expectations.
  • At this time there is no additional family programming during Fall Welcome.
  • Transfer students are invited to attend all Fall Welcome events.
