Jana Waller, MS, CCC-SLP, is an Associate Dean in the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance (HSHP). Ms. Waller supports the departments of Exercise Science and Athletic Training, Health Sciences and Public Health, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, and the Pre-Health Professions Program.  Her home department is Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SLPA) in which she teaches graduate courses in professional practice and holds the rank of Clinical Associate Professor.

Ms. Waller is honored to work with the incredible students, staff, and faculty at Ithaca College.  In her work as a leader, faculty member, and speech-language pathologist (SLP), she facilitates strengths-based, collaborative, and evidence-based approaches for establishing and meeting objectives and for preparing students for the dynamic healthcare workforce. In addition to her work at Ithaca College, Ms. Waller worked as a speech-language pathologist in educational, hospital, skilled nursing, and home-based settings and loved them all!   

Ms. Waller is currently serving on the Council on Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) Board of Directors as the Vice President for Online Professional Education and is a member of the Medical Ethics Committee at Cayuga Medical Center.

Ms. Waller earned a M.S. from Ithaca College in Speech-Language Pathology, a B.S. from the University of Washington in Speech and Hearing Sciences., and a B.A. from University at Albany-State University of New York in Psychology. She is a member of the Alpha Eta Society-the National Scholastic Honor Society for the Allied Health Professions and a proud alumna of the Higher Education Resource Services (HERS) Leadership Institute.
