Spend a Summer You Won't Forget in the United States
International students should be fluent in written and spoken English. This proficiency is also critical to your success in the program. International applicants whose native language is other than English are required to submit proof of English proficiency. Courses are taught in English and you must be able to effectively communicate with faculty members, fellow students, your roommate, and others to succeed at Summer College. The following are acceptable means to demonstrate proof of English proficiency:
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
- iBT 80
- Paper-based 550
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS)
Three years of attendance at a high school where English is the principal language of instruction.
International students must apply by April 1 for residential programs.
Acceptance into Ithaca College's summer college program does not guarantee admittance into Ithaca College.

International students are eligible for financial aid. The maximum need-based financial aid award is 50%. We're sorry; there are no exceptions.
