Building a Restorative, Resilient and Regenerative -Minded Approaches to Breaking the Chains of Mass Incarceration

In this conversation, Taili will explore what he has learned about changing systems that better the health and well-being of people in reentry and generally those impacted by the Justice (carceral system). What can we do as citizens to engage each other and the structures we operate under to ensure they are humanizing? What could this process look like and feel like, and how do we respond to the current cultural and socio-political environment to be successful?

Taili will use a mix of conversational speaking and spoken word artistry to aid in elevating the collective consciousness to facilitate collective alignment and the desire to build justice oriented, resilience building, and restorative approaches integrated into our everyday existence. We are the system, and it is therefore all of us working collaboratively that will yield the change we all desire.

This event will be followed by live DJ'ing from DJ Double A and networking with other Justice Minded organizations. If you would like to table at this event.
