Mia O'Brien is a sports anchor/multimedia journalist (MMJ) for First Coast News in Jacksonville, Florida, and a 2015 graduate of Ithaca College. She covers the Jacksonville Jaguars beat for broadcast, digital, and social platforms; produces and anchors nightly sportscasts; and generates daily content for the web and social media.
Her first job out of IC was at the CBS and Fox television outlets in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where she stayed for just under three years. While she was in college, she interned for WENY television in Elmira, New York (near Ithaca), for the Country Music Hall of Fame in Los Angeles, and for ESPN in London, England. She was also senior class president.
