Matthew Telyczka Internship Experience with Britbox

Matthew Telyczka Moynihan Train Hall

Matthew Telyczka, APRMC Minor

This summer I interned at BritBox as a Media Strategy, Planning, and Buying intern where I gained hands-on experience within a niche streaming platform. I learned about the work that goes into Linear TV and Out-of-Home (OOH) media planning and buying while also gaining experience with media management systems and the processes that happen behind the scenes after an ad runs from post-log data entry and verification to invoicing.

My background in multiple disciplines allowed me to understand the many moving parts of a tentpole campaign, from drafting production timelines to analyzing audience demographics, to summarizing past campaign performance for upcoming media buys.

My production background through the Television, Film, and Digital Media program combined with the APRMC minor provided me with the tools to explore both the creative and analytical aspects of running a successful campaign.
