Dominick DiOrio '06 | On April 8, Dominick DiOrio '06BM (now Professor of Music at Indiana University) conducted NOTUS and IU Jacobs School of Music instrumentalists in his original work "Eclipse Music for William Shatner," which accompanied the famous actor's original spoken-word narration, performed at the IU Memorial Stadium moments before eclipse totality.
Corey Stark '25 | Has won the Warren County Summer Music School’s 12th Annual Promising Young Composers Competition in the overall category for his composition “Wretched’s Lament” for solo piano! This competition was judged by Neil Flory, DMA. This follows his recent distinction for the Louis Smadbeck Composition Award for his piece "The Orbit of Dawn" for trombone octet.
