Know Your Options: Study Abroad Basics

This session provides an overview of all of the study abroad possibilities available to you as an IC student. It is perfect for those who are just at the beginning stages of study abroad planning. We'll discuss how to best plan for study abroad, explain key terminology and types of programs available, talk about what to consider when choosing a program, and how to plan for the financial side of your study abroad experience.

Study Abroad Scholarships

Looking for additional sources of financial aid to help make study abroad a reality? This session, led by IC '22 alum and Gilman scholarship recipient Katie Sullivan, focuses on the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship.  It also includes information about several other scholarship opportunities (discussion of other scholarships begins at 23:50).

Study Abroad Affiliated Program Sessions

Many of our affiliated partners are offering either live or pre-recorded information sessions about their programs. Keep in mind that not all programs offered by each affiliated organization are affiliated with IC. You can email to confirm the status of any program that interests you.

A number of our study abroad partners will be offering information sessions during the week of the Study Abroad Fair (September 26-28).  Come to the Fair to get an overview of your options, and then come to an info session to take a deep dive into the study abroad program offerings of a particular study abroad partner!
