Study Abroad Alumni

The Office of International Programs welcomes you back from study abroad!

We hope that your time overseas has enabled you to grow personally and intellectually, establish new friendships, learn about another culture, and discover new interests. We encourage you to think of your study abroad experience as the beginning of a life-long global journey that may be expanded upon in the future.

Study Abroad Ambassador program

Has your study abroad experience inspired you to encourage other IC students to go abroad? If so, you should consider becoming and Ithaca College Study Abroad Ambassador!

Ambassadors are students who have recently returned from a semester abroad and who are involved in peer advising, study abroad information sessions, orientations, and other events that promote study abroad on campus. The Ambassador program gives students the platform to share their overseas experiences with other interested students and also offers volunteer opportunities.

Serving as an ambassador requires only a minimal time commitment, but allows students to other students who have studied abroad and converse with interested students who are considering a future abroad experience. If you are interested in becoming a Study Abroad Ambassador, please email studyabroad@ithaca.edu.
