Registering for Courses

Winter 2022 courses will be posted Monday, October 18, 2021 by noon, but you can use our course search tool to find courses that have been offered during previous winter sessions now. Winter course registration will begin on November 1, 2021

Winter session registration is on a space-available basis. Continuing Ithaca College students can register for winter session courses via HomerConnect. Nondegree students register for winter session courses by completing an online registration request form. See the nondegree study site for details. The registration deadline for nondegree (extramural) students is December 15. 

The Audit option is not available for winter session courses.

Due to recent changes in state licensing of online education we cannot accept online extramural (nonmatriculated) students residing in Massachusetts while the online course is in session.

Winter Session 2022 Calendar

Winter Session is offered fully online (synchronous or asynchronous) and scheduled in three sub-terms:

Jan 3 - Jan 21 (three weeks)

Jan 3 - Jan 14 (two weeks)

Jan 10 - Jan 21 (two weeks)

Tuition and Financial Aid

Winter session charges are billed through Student Financial Services. Tuition for winter coursework is based on a per credit hour rate. The rate for winter session 2022 undergraduate courses is $575 per credit hour.

Financial aid does differ for winter session, so it is important to have a discussion with the Office of Student Financial Services.
