Student Complimentary Ticket Procedure for Center for Theatre and Dance Productions

School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (MTD) students will be eligible to redeem one (1) complimentary ticket to one (1) performance of each Center for Theatre and Dance production, pending demand and ticket inventory available for a given performance. For students of the Center for Music, attendance at a Center for Theatre and Dance production will count towards a student’s recital requirement moving forward.

Please note: You can only redeem complimentary tickets by reserving them in-person at the Center for Theatre and Dance Box Office in Dillingham Center.

Pick-Up Policy:

If a student redeemed their complimentary ticket in advance of a performance, all MTD students will be able to pick up by curtain time for a given performance. We encourage students to pick-up their tickets half-hour prior to curtain to help with traffic in and around the Center for Theatre and Dance Box Office.

Day-of/Night-Of Performance Policy:

If you were unable to redeem one (1) complimentary ticket during daytime Center for Theatre and Dance Box Office operating hours, and there are tickets still available, MTD students will be able to redeem their one (1) complimentary ticket when the Box Office opens for a given performance

If tickets are unavailable:

If tickets are not available for a certain performance, we encourage MTD students to join our wait list, which begins 1-hour prior to curtain. (Students will not be able to join the wait list in advance.)

If a MTD student joins our day-of/night-of wait list, they will be able to redeem their one (1) complimentary ticket, pending ticket inventory and number of individuals on wait list.

Members of the Cast, Crew, Artistic, and Production Teams:

If a SMTD students is member of the Cast, Crew, Artistic, and Production Teams, you will be eligible to receive up to two (2) complimentary tickets to performances after preview for the production for which you were involved .
