Family Leadership Society wordmark

The Family Leadership Society (FLS) at Ithaca College offers parents and families a meaningful way to deepen their connection to the college while directly supporting the student experience. As a leadership-level giving society, the FLS recognizes those who demonstrate a strong commitment through both philanthropy and active engagement. 

Members enjoy special access to signature campus events, opportunities to connect with college leadership, and a variety of ways to get involved—from mentoring students to serving as ambassadors for the Ithaca College community.

Family Leadership Society Events

FLS hosts events throughout the year, such as:

  • Family Weekend Reception with the President
  • Homecoming Game VIP Tailgate with the President
  • Commencement Eve Dinner with IC Leadership

Responsibilities

  • Make an annual gift of $2,500 or more to Ithaca College. Gifts to the Ithaca College Annual Fund are encouraged, though families may choose to support any current-use fund or area of the college that reflects their interests and enhances the student experience.
  • Participate in on-campus FLS meetings and receive updates from Ithaca College leaders.
  • Volunteer in any of the ways that most interest you.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Serve as a family ambassador at regional events for prospective and admitted families.
  • Recruit fellow parents to join the FLS.
  • Host or attend receptions and gatherings in your area for Ithaca College.
  • Leverage your professional networks to expand networking, mentorship, and career opportunities for students.
