Admission Requirements for the Graduate Programs in Education:
Admission to the adolescence education and childhood education programs is selective. Applicants must have earned a cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) from an accredited college or university. Applicants are also expected to provide evidence of a(n)
- Strong background in the liberal arts and sciences
- Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse students in educational settings
- Enthusiastic, creative, and reflective approach to teaching and learning
- Interest in innovation and reform in today’s schools
