Committees
The Committee on Assessment makes recommendations to the provost about the College's annual learning outcome (SLO) assessment process for academic affairs and provides oversight of, and serves as a mentoring resource for, school-based assessment committees.
The Committee on Policy serves as the faculty authority on academic policies related to student progress through academic programs to degree completion. The Committee reviews proposals to enact new academic policies and to revise existing academic policies that impact students. The Committee reviews policies that affect undergraduates or that affect all students at the College, regardless of level or matriculation status.
The Curriculum Committee establishes protocols for both undergraduate and graduate curriculum, for courses and programs. It serves as a consultative body for faculty and school curriculum committees during their preparation and review of curriculum proposals. The Committee’s review of proposals focuses on compliance with established curriculum protocols.
