The Appropriations Committee’s mission is to fairly and transparently support student organizations with financial resources to successfully pursue their mission and to encourage involvement on and off campus. Being on this committee offers you the opportunity to engage more on campus and the chance to familiarize yourself with all the college clubs. Participating on the Appropriations Committee is also a great way to sharpen your business skills. Members of this committee are not required to be a part of SGC.

The Campus Affairs Committee is dedicated to fostering a safe, accessible and engaged campus community by serving as a bridge between student needs and campus initiatives — advocating for improvements, programming, and involvement both on and off campus.

As a member of Campus Affairs Committee, you will collaborate with peers, engage with college administration, and play an active role in shaping the experiences of your fellow students. Whether it's addressing student concerns, or building community partnerships, this committee puts you at the center of it all.

The Communications Committee serves as the voice of Student Government, managing and shaping how SGC connects with the student body. From running official social media platforms to coordinating on-campus presence, this committee ensures that student government remains visible and accessible to every student on campus.

As a member of the Communications Committee, you'll be at the forefront of engagement. Crafting content, designing campaigns, and representing SGC at campus events and activities. Whether you have a passion for social media, graphic design, photography, writing, or public relations, this committee is the perfect place to put your creative skills to work while making a real impact on campus culture.

The Residential Hall Committee is the dedicated space where on-campus students and Resident Advisors (RAs) come together to discuss, address, and improve the state of residential life on campus. This committee serves as the direct link between those who call campus home and the decisions that shape their living experience.

As a member of the Residential Hall Committee, you'll have a real voice in conversations that matter. From the condition and upkeep of residential buildings, to community concerns, safety, and the overall quality of campus living. Whether you're a student looking to advocate for better living conditions or an RA wanting to bring your residents' concerns to the table, this is the place to make that happen.

The Social Justice & Sustainability Committee is committed to creating a campus community that is equitable, inclusive, and environmentally conscious. This committee serves as a platform for students who are passionate about advocacy, social change, and building a more just and sustainable world, starting right here on campus.

As a member of the Social Justice & Sustainability Committee, you'll engage in meaningful conversations and initiatives that address issues of equity, diversity, inclusion, and environmental responsibility. From organizing awareness campaigns and community dialogues to pushing for greener campus practices and amplifying underrepresented voices, this committee turns passion into action.
