Mariana is a screen cultures and journalism double major from Mexico. She is the co-president for El Alma Mexicana (LAM), an organization on campus based around Mexican culture open to all, an RA in East Tower and the head of social media for the Leftist Study Club (LSC). She is also involved with other organizations on campus such as the Ithacan, HerCampus, IC Design Club and HiFashion Club. She enjoys writing about culture, community and social phenomena as well as creating designs and engaging in conversations to broaden her horizons.
