Mariana is a Screen Cultures and Journalism double major senior from Mexico. She is the co-president for El Alma Mexicana (LAM), an organization on campus based around Mexican culture open to all, an RA in East Tower, a peer tutor for the Academic Success Center, the head of social media for the Leftist Study Club (LSC) and a treasurer for the IC Design Club. She is also involved with other organizations on campus such as the Ithacan, Her Campus, Dispatch Magazine, among others. Likewise, she enjoys writing about culture, community and social phenomena as well as creating designs and engaging in conversations to broaden her horizons.
