To be considered for any scholarship, you must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
The following scholarships are available to students majoring in Physical Therapy. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of financial need (unless noted otherwise).
Charles A. Frueauff Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to outstanding undergaduate students in the Departments of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or in programs in community health education, therapeutic recreation, and health policy studies.
Who can apply: Outstanding rising sophomore, junior or senior students
Arkell Hall Foundation Scholarship
Awarded to undergraduate students showing outstanding academic ability in the Departments of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology or in programs in community health education, therapeutic recreation, and health policy studies.

J. William '33 and Jane S. Bagley Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to outstanding undergraduate students in clinical health studies/physical therapy.

Ellen Marie Blodgett '65 Memorial Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate physical therapy student with demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to a student pursuing a second career or to a student who interrupted his or her academic career for personal reasons and who has returned to complete a degree. The scholarship was generously established by Ellen Marie Blodgett through her estate.

Emmett Boldt '60 Scholarship
Awarded to an undergraduate student in the clinical health studies/physical therapy program. Established by friends and family in memory of Emmett Boldt.

McClung Family Scholarship
Awarded to undergraduate physical therapy students in good academic standing with demonstrated financial need.

Physical Therapy Endowment
Awarded to outstanding seniors and fifth-year students in the clinical health studies/physical therapy program.
Who can apply: Rising senior or fifth year students
Arlene Makransky Wolff '57 Endowed Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding student majoring in physical therapy. Preference is given to those qualified students who plan to pursue a career in pediatric physical therapy. Financial need is not a consideration.

National Rehabilitation Medical Network Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time graduate student in the Department of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Eligible students must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.5 and demonstrate outstanding clinical performance. Financial need is not a requirement.
The National Rehabilitation Medical Network specializes in treating persons with physical disabilities caused by spinal cord and head injuries, stroke, arthritis, amputation, multiple sclerosis, post-polio syndrome, and other neurological and orthopedic conditions.
It has grown from a single hospital to The NRH Medical Rehabilitation Network providing inpatient and outpatient care and day treatment programs. The network provides nearly 200,000 ambulatory visits annually in addition to the hospital's more than 1,700 inpatient admissions. Physicians nationwide consistently rank NRH among “America’s Best Hospitals,” as reported by U.S. News & World Report.

Physical Therapy Leadership Scholarship
Awarded to an outstanding graduate student in the Physical Therapy program who has a grade point average of 3.5 or higher; a history of leadership in the program, institution, or community and potential for leadership in the profession; and demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to African American, Latino, Asian American, and Native American (ALANA) students. Established in celebration of the career and retirement of Professor Michael A. Pagliarulo.
Dr. Justin Alexander Scholarship
Awarded to a deserving graduate physical therapy major to help defray the costs of the last year of study. Financial need is not a requirement. Created to honor Justin Alexander on his retirement in 1986 after 28 years of service to the College.
Ray Boone Scholarship
Awarded to a graduate student with outstanding academic performance and demonstrated financial need who is entering the final year of the doctor of physical therapy degree program.
