“It fits into my life because I'm also a violinist—for example, this week we have a vacation and I can now play concerts (…) So that really fits into my other life. Last year I went to [other countries] with a big band. I asked the school if I could have time off and they were very flexible. That also contributes to my happiness being a teacher, of course—that I can still be a performer.”
