Theatre Studies (B.A.) at Ithaca College is for students who want to create theatre.
Whether your interests lie in directing, playwriting, dramaturgy, producing, criticism, scholarship, or new work development, the program provides the tools to turn ideas into performance. Students collaborate with writers, actors, designers, and stage managers while developing their own artistic voice and leadership skills.
Grounded in the liberal arts and enriched by hands-on creative experiences, Theatre Studies encourages students to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage with the social and cultural questions that shape contemporary theatre.
The program's flexibility allows students to combine theatre with a second major or minor, preparing them for careers in the arts and beyond.
