Every student accepted to go to London must attend several meetings. Students will also be invited to join a London Center Orientation group in Canvas, where there will be required readings and material to review.
Sessions are typically held via Zoom to allow London staff to lead the meetings.
- London Live 1: Intro to the London Center (check back here soon for additional session dates). Join current students and staff from the ICLC for a virtual introduction to the London program. You'll get a quick overview of what to expect including housing, travel, classes, work placements (internships), and visa information. NOTE: This introductory session is optional for accepted students. All other sessions are mandatory.
- London Live 2: Studying in London - view recording(recorded 9/25/25). Meet virtually with ICLC staff and current students to learn about academic life in London, including course registration, expectations, and support services.
- London Live 3: Work Placements (internships) & Visas - view recording (recorded 9/30/25). Hear directly from ICLC staff about the work placement process and student visa requirements. This session is essential if you’re considering gaining international work experience to build your resume. NOTE: Accepted Spring 2026 students who attended the April 2025 Work Placement & Visa session are not required to attend, but are encouraged to do so for a work placement refresher.
- London Live 4: Living in London - view recording(recorded 11/4/25). What’s it really like to live in London? Chat virtually with current and former students and staff to hear about daily life, local culture, and important health and safety tips. Bring your questions- there will be plenty of time to ask!
