The National Association of Black Accountants, Inc. is one of the premier professional organizations in the nation seeks to build leaders and bridge the opportunity gap for diverse professionals seeking to enter the related business fields of accounting, consulting, finance and information technology. The Ithaca College chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants seeks to do the same on the Ithaca College campus by creating opportunities for ALANA students and developing our student members to ensure their success upon graduation.
Founded over ten years ago, IC NABA has gained a reputation for the success of its student members. As the organization grows and strengthens we believe that it is crucial that our members share in experiences and relationship building that will give them a new perspective in their area of interest. As a part of the NABA family we are able to seek guidance and mentorship from the professional chapter as well as our Alumni. The success of IC NABA can be seen through our alumni who are thriving in their respected fields. IC NABA connects our members with internship, scholarship, networking opportunities, and professional members in the accounting, finance, and business related field through Eastern Region Conference, our Alumni connections, and other resources.
IC NABA’s Mission:
The IC Student Chapter of NABA shall unite through membership accounting and business students who have similar interests and ideals, are committed to academic and future professional excellence, a sense of professional and civic responsibility, and are concerned with enhancing opportunities for minorities in accounting and business.
