Our Mission:
The Ithaca College Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) promotes and fosters the academic, personal, and interpersonal development of Ithaca College students by providing short-term individual, group, and relationship counseling, and crisis intervention for all students. Consultation, psychoeducation, and support services are provided to faculty, staff, and the parents of students, ensuring that all members of the IC community are valued and assisted in achieving academic and personal goals.
CAPS at Ithaca College helps create a healthy college community through its commitment to responsiveness and individual attention to student needs. The Center provides a safe place for students to explore difficult issues, advocates for a healthy environment in which to live and work, and nurtures the development of the whole person.

The Center for Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) is fully accredited by the International Association of Counseling Services (IACS).
