  • b. The supervisor can verify if a student has the appropriate active assignment when they are listed under the Hiring Manager’s My Team app.

Promotions:

Internal promotions will function in the same way as other student employee searches.

When creating the requisition, under Details (5), be sure to complete the following field with the appropriate rationale: If conducting an INTERNAL ONLY search, please explain your recruitment plan. This allows the Recruiter to understand why this search will be internal only.

Internal promotion searches will not be posted, and Hiring Managers will have to either add or invite their current student employees to apply.

All questions about student employment or the recruiting process should be directed to the Office of Human Resources at 4-8000 or via email at studentemployment@ithaca.edu.
