ILead Ithaca Academy Summer Session Registration is Now Open!

ILead Ithaca Academy is a leadership development program created for supervisors that are interested in taking their leadership skills to the next level.  This program is designed to enhance leadership skills that will support supervisors' efforts to effectively manage team dynamics and departmental performance. Realizing that our supervisors have a great variation of leadership skills and experience, we’ve created a learning environment that fosters excellence and encourages

Participants will progress through bi-weekly sessions over the course of a 3-month period.  Specific key component and objectives of the program are outlined below.

Key Components

  • Six comprehensive leadership sessions delivered  in the spring and fall semester
  • Development of an institutional emerging leaders cohort
  • Peer coaching and mentoring assignment
  • Cornerstone of enhancing leadership acumen
  • Sustained learning facilitated by learning application
  • Build trust and respect amongst participants to enhance learning and increase the cohesiveness of a cohort of leaders on campus
  • Expand participant understanding of the role of a leader
  • Build confidence and leadership credibility and acumen for each participant
  • Increase self-awareness of personal leadership styles and opportunities
  • Create opportunities for applied learning to support productive sustainable practices
  • Ensure that participants have a baseline for Diversity & Inclusion
  • Prepare participants to engage as strong leaders for their teams and the college
