Three Fulbrights!

Over the years Ithaca College has had tremendous success with one student winning a Fulbright award every year or two. Last year, for the second time, two IC students won Fulbright awards.

This year, three IC seniors have won this prestigious award. Kelly Helin will be going to Bulgaria to teach and conduct research on teaching in Bulgarian high schools and orphanages. Sarah Kessler, a Martin Luther King Jr. Scholar, will be going in South Korea doing human rights research in collaboration with the Human Rights Commission of Korea, the Migrant Welfare Center, and Hanyang University. Betsabe Luna will be in Spain to teach and conduct research on teaching in Spanish high schools, and to work with Madrid organizations dealing with domestic violence.
