As executive vice president and senior advisor to the president, Nancy Pringle and her team actively serve the college community as collaborative partners. They provide advice and counsel in such matters as governance, compliance, policy development and interpretation, enterprise risk management, insurance, and all other matters with legal implications for the college. Her team also supports the board through meeting preparation, board governance, and compliance with New York State laws. Her division strives to proactively address barriers to advance the college as a healthy, vibrant learning and working environment. Under Nancy’s leadership, the Division of Human and Legal Resources offers services with a focus on excellence, integrity, respect, communication, and openness and collaboration.
Nancy joined IC in August 1994. She is frequently sought out as a national thought leader in the area of enterprise risk management and is a regular presenter at conferences on the national level. Prior to joining IC, Nancy was vice president at a private family office and wealth management company and led the creation of a new model for multigenerational family office governance.
Nancy earned her juris doctor from the University of Buffalo and also holds an EdS and MS in counseling development and student personnel along with a BA in sociology from the College of Saint Rose.
