She is responsible for providing executive and administrative direction over the college’s legal affairs division and serves as secretary to the Board of Trustees. In addition to her role as general counsel and secretary of the board, Pringle served as executive vice president and senior advisor to President Shirley M. Collado. She was recognized by the board with honorary trustee status for her extraordinary contributions and being a respected colleague who has provided “intellect, creativity, civility and stability” while serving four presidents, six board chairs and hundreds of board members as well as untold faculty, administrators, students and staff. In 2019, Pringle was awarded the inaugural Presidential Medal at IC’s Commencement ceremony.
