The Predoctoral Julian Euell Future Faculty Fellowship (JEFFF) provides advanced doctoral candidates with meaningful teaching experience as they complete their dissertations. Over the course of one year, fellows teach one course per semester, engage in scholarly forums, develop their pedagogical skills, and receive mentorship and professional development designed to prepare them for successful academic careers.
Dr. Julian Euell Future Faculty Fellowship Program (formerly Diversity Scholars Program)
The Ithaca College Dr. Julian Euell Future Faculty Fellowship (formerly Diversity Scholars Fellowship) Program was initially created in 2010 in the School of Humanities and Sciences to increase the racial and ethnic diversity of Ithaca College faculty and in doing so bring needed lived experience, expertise, skills, and fresh perspectives to the College’s curriculum and learning experiences offered to students. Having served as a successful model for recruiting and retaining faculty, the program has welcomed 37 scholars to campus, including both predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars.
