Professor Klemm's book, Medical Anthropology in the Late Middle Ages: Pietro d’Abano on Body, Soul, and the Virtues (De Gruyter, 2024), examines the intersection of astrology, medicine, and philosophy in the work of the influential medieval author, Pietro d'Abano (d. 1315).
